The Ethos of Southcot Services

We have been meeting the ICT needs of people and companies since the early nineties. At the outset Southcot Services was the trading name of the sole trader Charlie Markwick. In 2000 Charlie launched Southcot Services Ltd and by 2003 the limited company had taken over all the business of Southcot Services. In 2009, Cliff Ballinger, who had been working for the company for four years joined the board.

The company has always been committed to providing a personal service. Although the technology around us is exciting and enhances our lives, we believe that for many people and small companies it is also very daunting. We pride ourselves on “Helping Everyone Understand Technology”; to that end we are slowly building a library of “How Does” articles that explain technical issues in lay terms without obscure jargon. You can see these at: southcot.co.uk?how. The services the company offers broadly fall into 4 categories, click on the links to find out more:-
